Function
Glucan, a functional food ingredient, is a polysaccharide widely found in the cell walls of bacteria, fungi, algae and plants. It is linked together by several different types of beta-glucoside bonds to form linear or branched structures.

Application
Glucan is a promoter and activator of skin macrophages, which can be used for wound healing, anti-inflammation, improving skin immunity and anti-tumor. Glucan has good compatibility and will not reduce the effectiveness of other active additives. It has considerable osmotic effect and is widely used as moisturizing agent, sunscreen, soap-free detergent and conditioner.
