Product Description

A gas or diesel generator is an ideal solution for numerous prime and standby power applications. Whether you're working in a location without access to a "standard" power supply, or need an emergency backup in case the electricity goes out, you need a generator. For that generator to operate at its best, you need to keep it cool, and for that, you need air cooled remote radiator from VRcooler for your custom cooling solutions.

A remote radiator cools a generator when the generator is in a space where a regular radiator will not fit beside it. Placed at a distance from the generator, a remote radiator cools the system and keeps it from overheating.

VRcooler remote vertical and horizontal radiators are designed to cool diesel engines of varying sizes.

Application in coolers and condensers:
Air flow and surface area are key to maximizing the effect of dry cooling. Vrcooler facilitates this transfer of energy by running process fluid through a series of highly conductive aluminium fins. By constantly drawing large quantities of air through the fins, heat is quickly removed from the system and discharges to the atmosphere.
Vrcooler offers several models designed specifically to run in 100% dry cooling mode as either closed circuit coolers, or condensers.

1. Material options

·Heavy-gauge hot-dip galvanized steel is used for unit steel panels and structural elements featuring a zinc aluminium coating.
 

2. Heat transfer media

·The dry cooler is constructed of staggered and seamless copper tubes (15,9 or 12,7 diameter) with aluminium, rippled and corrugated fins (0,14 or 0,17 thickness). ·2,5 mm fin spacing for optimal air turbulence ·Thick and seamless copper headers and threaded steel connections ·Pressure tested at 15 bar ·Try our options for aggressive environments: special pre-coated anti-corrosion aluminium fins or copper fins (0,2 mm thickness).
 

3. Air movement system

·Axial fan with exceptionally compact direct drive short integrated motor and fan guard. ·The fan features an impeller and motor and is balanced as a complete unit using dynamic single plane balancing. Balance grade is G6.3. ·Fan and motor totally maintenance free. ·Bearings seals and motor encapsulation for long service life.

Standard tubes are 5/8", 1/2" ,5/8", 20, 1" OD, 304, 316 stainless steel, copper, titanium, hot dip galvanized steel or aluminum. Tubes are arranged inline in the direction of airflow for maximum heat transfer with minimum air side pressure drop. 

 
 
Name: Fin

Standard fin material is aluminum, copper, stainless steel, titanium.  Fins are die-formed into a corrugated (waffle) configuration to encourage turbulent airflow and improve heat transfer efficiency. Fins do have varied types of space.
